My story

I’m Drake Williams, a senior-level creative with 9 years of experience in graphic design, branding, and motion graphics. I started my career at The Richards Group, working on high-profile campaigns for brands like Dr Pepper, Chick-fil-A, and Snapple. My work with Snapple’s custom hand-drawn labels and Dr Pepper’s “Pepper Pack” campaign earned me a reputation for creative precision and innovative brand collateral.

After relocating to New York City, I expanded my client base by collaborating with VidMob, creating dynamic advertising content for top-tier clients like Gatorade, Toyota, and ULTA Beauty. My passion for music led to collaborations with Alternative Press and Hopeless Records, where I designed animated lyric videos and visual content that brought music to life for fans.

As Lead Designer at VFILES, I shaped the brand’s art direction and led projects at the intersection of fashion, music, and culture. Alongside my professional work, I launched Deadly Doodles, a passion project now carried by Hot Topic.

With every project, I blend a unique creative perspective with intentional strategic thinking to help brands tell their stories in memorable, engaging, and impactful ways. When I'm not drawing skulls, designing merchandise, or getting crazy in the moshpits, I'm helping clients bring their visions to life with that same energy and passion.
