As part of Alternative Press’ push to expand its in-house branded merchandise and brand collateral, I created a full suite of designs, concepts, and products for their e-commerce store. Featuring iconic magazine covers from legendary bands like Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, Nirvana, Good Charlotte, and more, the collection includes t-shirts, hoodies, hats, mugs, sticker sheets, CD cases, jewelry, and more.
Given full creative control, this project was a dream opportunity to craft bold, nostalgic, and impactful merchandise for a publication that has shaped alternative music culture for decades—one that I hold dear to my heart.
DOMINIC FIKE
Animated social media asset created for Alternative Press, showcasing a dynamic magazine cover featuring rising star Dominic Fike. Blending model photography with subtle yet graceful animation, the piece brings the cover to life while maintaining the magazine’s signature aesthetic. Known for his genre-blending sound and magnetic presence, Fike has solidified himself as a standout artist in modern music, making this collaboration a perfect fusion of music and design.

Official Alternative Press magazine cover design for the inaugural When We Were Young festival issue—a tribute to the legendary event held in Las Vegas, NV. This ethereal cover features my own live shot of Poppy’s performance, capturing her magnetic energy and captivating presence. As a lifelong fan of Alternative Press, having one of my photographs grace the cover is an immense honor. The experience of seeing my work in print is a milestone, solidifying my place in the magazine’s storied history and connecting me to the legacy of designers who have defined its iconic covers.

This dynamic cover blends electrifying live shots of each band member with an epic crowd photo, capturing the energy and emotion of the band’s legacy. As a lifelong fan of both Alternative Press and Dance Gavin Dance, this project was a dream come true. Seeing my work in print cements my place in the magazine’s rich history, joining the legacy of designers who have shaped its iconic covers.
WHEN WE WERE YOUNG FEST
Captured the energy and raw emotion of some of the most iconic bands and artists at the inaugural When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas, NV. From the high-energy performances of A Day To Remember, Poppy, and Bring Me The Horizon, to the nostalgic sets of My Chemical Romance, Avril Lavigne, and Pierce The Veil, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph a diverse range of artists, including Neck Deep, The Used, and Knocked Loose. This festival brought together legendary talent, and I was fortunate to document these unforgettable moments.
